The Christmas Hamper Campaign is an annual, time-limited program serving Penticton, Kaleden, PIB, and Naramata, where individuals, couple or families in need can register for a Christmas Hamper intended to provide a generous meals during the Christmas season. Each hamper contains food for their pantry, Christmas breakfast, Christmas dinner (including ham or turkey), toys and gift cards for all children and teens, as well as a small gift for each adult.

This campaign has been running every year for over 30 years! In 2024, we delivered 340 hampers that served a total of 925 people made up of 600 adults and 325 children and teens. This special campaign serves the community Penticton and area community costs $40,000-$50,000 annually.

Each year, a dedicated telephone line is setup to take registrations from the beginning of November through early December. Hampers are normally delivered in the weeks just before Christmas.

This undertaking is only possible because of the generous support of our community through donations of time, talent, and treasure.
